Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Product Owner with 6–8 years of experience to drive product vision, strategy and delivery of service-based Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and pre-sales support, along with proven experience in leading BA efforts across projects ensuring that product goals are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered with high value to end users.
This role requires working closely with US-based clients, delivery teams, and sales stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. The candidate should be comfortable operating in both delivery and pre-sales environments, contributing to business growth as well as successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the product backlog, defining and prioritizing features, user stories, and tasks based on business value.
  • Lead end-to-end requirement gathering, analysis, and document project Roadmap.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Drive pre-sales activities, including solutioning, proposal creation (RFP/RFI responses), effort estimation, and client presentations.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthrough sessions.
  • Create and maintain key artifacts such as BRDs, FRDs, SRS, User Stories, process flows, wireframes, Use cases, Project Matrices.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user satisfaction.
  • Support project delivery by ensuring requirements is clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Lead and mentor Project team. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
  • Lead sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and product demos to showcase progress and gather feedback.
  • Contribute to process improvements, reusable assets, and domain knowledge repositories.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience as a Product Owner/ Business Analyst in a service-based IT environment.
  • Strong experience in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Balsamiq, or similar.
  • Ability to translate technical information into business context and vice versa.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales activities, including solutioning and proposal development.
  • Experience working with US/onsite clients and handling client communications independently.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle.
  • Ability to lead BA activities across projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Manager, or equivalent.
  • Experience in software or technology-focused companies.
  • Experience in domains such as HealthCare and Med Tech or Enterprise Applications.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, cloud-based solutions, or API-driven architectures.
  • Experience working in multi-geography distributed teams.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and wireframing tools.
