Position: IT Recruiter
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (On-Site)/ Hybrid (2 days onsite and 3 days remote) /Fully Remote (Exceptions)
Shift Timings: US-based hours 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM OR 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced US IT Recruiter with a strong background in supporting US government agencies & state clients. As part of Dash Technologies -a company based in Dublin, Ohio, you will play a critical role in driving our continued growth in the US public sector staffing space.
Dash Technologies is a rapidly expanding IT services and staffing organization known for delivering high-quality talent solutions across enterprise and government clients. With increasing demand from our US-based partners, we are actively looking to strengthen our recruitment team with professionals who understand the nuances of compliance-driven hiring, VMS/MSP environments, and government-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job portals (Dice, Monster), ATS, internal databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Evaluate and screen candidates based on technical skills, domain expertise, experience, qualifications, and compliance requirements (especially for government roles).
- Conduct initial technical and behavioral screening interviews to assess communication skills, motivation, and cultural fit.
- Handle different types of hiring: Contract, Contract-to-Hire (CTH), and Full-Time (Permanent Placements) with a focus on government and public sector clients.
- Strong understanding of US tax terms like C2C, 1099, and W2, and various visa types including H1B, GC, TN, EAD, and US Citizens with emphasis on eligibility criteria for government projects (e.g., US Citizens, GC, clearance-ready candidates).
- Experience working with US government requirements such as federal/state contracts, MSP/VMS portals (e.g., Fieldglass, Vector VMS, People Fluent).
- Coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and manage compensation negotiations (salary/rates) in line with market and client budgets.
- Ensure seamless candidate onboarding and maintain regular communication to build long-term relationships while ensuring compliance with client onboarding processes.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified and interested candidates through proactive networking and targeted sourcing for niche government roles.
- Provide market insights on candidate availability, salary trends, and sourcing strategies.
- Exhibit strong closure and negotiation skills with a candidate-centric approach.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to compliance standards required for government hiring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering – preferred but not mandatory
- Experience required: Min 5 years in US IT Staffing (with at least 2+ years supporting government or public sector clients).
- Proven experience in IT recruitment, preferably within the US market and specifically with government/state/federal clients.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as background checks, clearance processes, and documentation standards.
